Last week the internet lit up with rumor that Beyoncé and Rihanna were working on a collaboration together. The talk was even listed on the ASCAP database, causing excitement for both Beyoncé’s ‘Beyhive’ fans and Rihanna’s ‘Navy.’

However, it’s time to settle down, as the rumoured collaboration seems to be untrue, at least according to Rihanna, who simply stated, “That Collab Is A Lie.” Fair enough.

With the rumoured ill-feeling between Jay Z’s protégé and his wife it was all perhaps a little too far-fetched to be true…
